Story

Support STREAT, Westpac Foundations’ community partner, help to raise funds to try to stop youth homelessness and disadvantage. We're aiming to raise $2000  (including matching gifts) so please give what you can. There are many ways your donation will help:

• Your $25 donation will pay for a chef’s apron for a young trainee at STREAT.

• Your $50 donation will pay for all the educational materials needed by a trainee in STREAT’s intensive 20-week program.

• Your $100 donation will cover the costs of Magic, STREAT’s Therapy Dog, working her anxiety-busting magic with a class of trainees for a whole week. 

How to donate

Payroll Giving (for permanent employees)

Select Donate from your Pay above - choose Westpac from the drop down list and sign into Good2Give (Westpac's workplace giving provider) using your Westpac Group email address. This will make your donation directly from your next pay (pre-tax) and it will be immediately matched through Westpac Group's Matching Gifts program.

Credit Card or PayPal (for contractors and non-Westpac supporters) 

Select the Donate tab above and donate via credit card or PayPal.

STREAT Limited

STREAT is a social enterprise that provides homeless and disadvantaged youth with the life-skills, work experience and training they require to start a career in hospitality. Our five Melbourne businesses provide the venues needed to support our young people. We want our youth thriving in all parts of their lives and we help them have a stable life, stable job and a stable home. Stable life - we provide wrap-around support including individual case management, linkages to other specialist service providers, group life skills programs, and creative and social activities. Stable job - we provide a range hospitality programs including accredited certificate courses, work experience, and short courses. We also provide workplace training and mentoring for each young person across STREAT's inner Melbourne cafes and production kitchen. Stable home - we work towards our youth having a safe and long term place to live through partnerships with a wide range of Melbourne housing services.
