Streetwork
Story
Support Streetwork, Westpac Foundations’ community partner, help to raise funds to 'at risk' young people affected by crime, mental health issues, violence, destructive relationships, social isolation, homelessness, those disengaged from school or with poor employment opportunities and those impacted by alcohol and substance abuse, to turn their lives around. We're aiming to raise $2,000 (including matching gifts) so please give what you can. There are many ways your donation will help:
• Your $25 donation will fund 1 hour of mentoring in a bid to help a young person turn their life around through StreetWork.
• Your $50 donation will fund 2 hours of mentoring in a bid to help a young person turn their life around through StreetWork.
• Your $100 donation will fund 4 hours of mentoring in a bid to help a young person turn their life around through StreetWork.

StreetWork Inc
StreetWork is a not-for-profit, community based organisation that focuses on prevention and early intervention strategies for ‘at risk’ youth and has a proven history of positive, tangible results for youth at risk through early intervention programs. Our mission is to provide 'at-risk' youth between 11 and 18 years of age in the local community, access to one-on-one mentoring to tailor goal setting plans and break the cycle of environments and behaviours to turn their lives around. StreetWork engages with communities to provide the foundation and support to identify those young people whose needs are not being met and to help them get themselves back on track. It aims to help troubled young people affected by crime, violence, mental health issues, destructive relationships, rejections and social isolation, homelessness, learning difficulties, disengagement from school, poor employment opportunities and alcohol and substance abuse, to change their life's trajectory. This is achieved by redirecting young people through positive role modelling, mentoring and practical support towards more positive and fulfilling choices for their lives.
