Story
Support Western Chances, Westpac Foundations’ community partner, help young people in Melbourne’s western suburbs achieve their full potential. We're aiming to raise $2,000 (including matching gifts) so please give what you can. There are many ways your donation will help:
• Your $25 donation will contribute toward monthly internet fees for a secondary student through Western Chances.
• Your $50 donation will provide 11 days of public transport for travel to and from university for a student who otherwise wouldn’t get the opportunity.
• Your $100 donation will pay for maths text books for a talented student through Western Chances.
How to donate
Payroll Giving (for permanent employees)
Select Donate from your Pay above - choose Westpac from the drop down list and sign into Good2Give (Westpac's workplace giving provider) using your Westpac Group email address. This will make your donation directly from your next pay (pre-tax) and it will be immediately matched through Westpac Group's Matching Gifts program.
Credit Card or PayPal (for contractors and non-Westpac supporters)
Select the Donate tab above and donate via credit card or PayPal.
If you have friends or family who would like to donate, just share this page and they can also donate by credit card and PayPal.

Western Chances
Western Chances supports talented and motivated young people in Melbourne's West to pursue their education and dreams by providing scholarships, opportunity programs and ongoing support. Our merit-based scholarships are targeted to those who have limited opportunities and financial resources. Scholarships are tailored to fit the needs of the young person and may be used to purchase textbooks, leadership and study camps, laptops, internet access, lecture notes, music or dance lessons, public transport expenses and specialist equipment. To ensure long term impact, scholarships can be renewed each year for as long as the recipient’s need and eligibility continues. We have assisted almost 7,000 recipients to achieve their goals and they are now establishing themselves as professionals in their field.
